Jupiter glows brightly to the left, next to our Galactic Center rising to the East, on the right is some epic green Airglow, an occurrence that seems to happen often at this time of year.
The Small Magellanic Cloud is visible on the Right of frame.
I shot this on Sunday morning, my first astro trip this year.
I had scouted this location out during the day and had been waiting weeks to take this shot in the Canterbury High Country, New Zealand.
I had to pause taking this panorama a few times due to wind gusts, very frustrating.
